Artist's statement
Tam Man Ho (1997) born in Hong Kong, graduated from the Academy of Visual Arts at Baptist University. His works mostly relate to his life experience, including video installation, mixed media, new media, and photography. His creations are mainly based on video art and mixed with other materials as his starting point. In modern life, the public and private spheres are full of images. Images have become an indispensable part of humans, even though it is the second language of mankind. Humans who don't understand language cannot survive in society, As some who don't know how to use images are hard to live in society. In Tan's works, he always tries to deconstruct and reorganize the symbols generated by images, re-examining various contemporary myths.
譚敏濠 (1997) 出生於香港，畢業於香港浸會大學視覺藝術系。畢業後主以錄像為創作基礎混合不同的媒材去探索不同的生活命題。其作品包括錄像裝置、混合媒介、新媒體及攝影。在現代的生活中，不論是公共領域或是私人領域都充斥著種影像，影像已經成為人們不可缺裂的一部分，甚至是人類的第二語言，不懂語言的人在社會上無法生存,同理不懂使用影像的人亦是步步為艱。在譚的作品中總是嘗試解構與重組影像所生成的符號,從影像與符號的角度重審視散落在社會上的各樣當代神話。
